Even though it’s natural, that doesn’t mean it is easy.

Those first weeks of breastfeeding can feel overwhelming. Although breastfeeding is a natural way to feed your baby that doesn't mean that it will come easily. It is a learned skill for both you and your baby. Having the right supports early on in your journey can make a big difference.

Latch & basic breastfeeding support.

Our Certified Lactation Educators can assist you with learning the basics of breastfeeding. Having the right information can help you feel empowered as you navigate this part of parenting.

Includes support from our Certified Lactation Educators:

• A preliminary phone call to discuss your breastfeeding support needs.

• Up to 2 hours of in-home, hands-on feeding support.

• Basic Latching - getting you and baby comfortable with latching, as well as showing you different positions that can improve your breastfeeding experience.

• Evidence-based education on the frequency of feedings - How often do babies need to eat?

• Evidence-based education on how to know if your baby is getting enough breastmilk - How do I know if I have a good milk supply?

• Bottle, pumping, formula, and triple feeding support guidance for making these processes as simple and effective as possible to save you time and increase efficiency.

• Email follow-up outlining our visit, including resources and the suggestions and strategies we discussed during our support visit.

• Follow-up communication.

$125 +GST per visit
